In my childhood, as my family recalls, I was in the place I call the "unknown." Twisted in the embrace of my blanket, my fingers wrapped in the fringes, I would be found speaking a word over and over again, louder and louder, even in my sleep. The word was goy, which in my native language has no meaning, but in the heavenly language and ancient Hebrew the word means nation. In the Torah ( the books of Moses ) goy appears over 550 times in reference to the Israelite's and to the gentiles nations. The words spoken in my heart are for you and all the nations.
GOY!
Who I was, and who I have become, is the story of a lost and shy soul - one that diligently seeks for His love. In great times of need and trouble, while in my own wilderness - under the howling desert and the great heat burning my soul, my sins, the stars, under my own Sukkah - mourning for the God of the Hebrews and my people, all Jew and gentile, I was found by the Author of the greatest story of love. With His great mercy, compassion and tenderness He healed my broken heart and restored my lost life by teaching me the ways of His great law, mercy and love.
So people ask me about my religion,
my answer is... I was grafted into the vine and my religion has become a love story with Adonai through Yeshua, Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
In spite of my accent, I so much love to read His spoken words out loud. He chooses the music that moves my spirit and the words that were made to be spoken.
His words are carved in my heart, flowing out of me like rivers of living waters. I pray very soon the next project will be audio-recorded books of Adonai's Spoken Words.
I work in ministry with my husband, a chaplain devoted to God and His Word. Together we will bring to you Adonai's Spoken Words.
